Stephen Martines

The triple-threat singer, songwriter, and actor Stephen Martines was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 23, 1975. From an early age, Martines took a keen interest in music, having been exposed to everything from the grinding blues his grandmother belted out in the kitchen to Elvis recordings he would listen to on the family record player and the soul-wringing ballads of Garth Brooks. Little did Martines know, his introduction to these diverse genres would later serve as a guide on his fated journey into the music industry.

In 1998, Martines moved to Los Angeles to begin a career in acting. Becoming a regular on television shows like General Hospital, Monarch Cove, and The Guiding Light, he was quickly becoming a highly sought after talent. This success eventually led to Martines taking on roles for prime time television shows, including The Closer, Vampire Diaries, and Burn Notice, among others. Despite his success in Hollywood, Martines was finding it increasingly difficult to ignore his passion for music.
